The Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM) is a ground-breaking higher education program aimed at identifying and training Africa’s future generation of technologists and managers.
NUTM aims for excellence in technology and management, and to serve as a center for world-class learning and research. At the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels, it focuses on subjects in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Management. NUTM intends to be one of Africa’s top five universities, and Nigeria’s best, in the next ten years.
- A recognized bachelor’s degree in any field
- Must not be older than 35 years of age as at the date of application
Note: Applicants may have work experience and/or a postgraduate degree. The academic and professional backgrounds of applicants can be from any discipline. It is mandatory for all the selected applicants to submit their transcripts before the start of pre-term. Failing to do so would result in withdrawal of the offer.

Scholarship Benefits and Duration
NSP will provide you with the necessary expertise and skills to become a technology and entrepreneurial leader. The curriculum lasts ten months and is divided into eight four- to five-week periods. Other benefits include:

Qualities of an Ideal NSP Scholar
We’re seeking for brilliant, curious, and enthusiastic people with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong passion for Africa, intellectual curiosity, passion and self awareness, and leadership potential who want to make a difference in Africa and the globe for the NUTM Scholars program.
There are six foundational tracks in the program, they are:

- Critical Thinking and Communication
- 04 May 2022 – Application Open
- 20 June 2022 – Round 1 Deadline
- 25 July 2022 – Round 2 Deadline
- 15 September 2022 – Round 3 Deadline
- 30 September 2022 – Security Deposit / First Instalment Deadline
- 5 October 2022 – Pre-Term Begins
- 20 October 2022 – On-Campus Start
- August 2023 – Graduation
How to Apply
Complete the online application form and provide information on your background, education, work experience, interests and motivations. There is NO application fee.
Shortlisted candidates from Stage 1 will be invited for an online assessment. The assessment will test learning agility, personality traits and critical thinking abilities.
Qualified candidates from Stage 2 will be invited for a 20 minute telephonic interview. The telephonic interview will evaluate your aspirations and suitability for the NSP.
The final stage is an in-person 20-minute interaction with a panel. At this stage, you will be assessed on your aptitude, leadership potential and motivation to attend the Program.
Scholarship applications must be received no later than 20th June 2022 for you to be considered.
